I have had mine for 2 years now and has been many places thus far. I've had to have reshaped a couple times now and it still looks great and fits great. Good Hat for uniform and re-enactors
This 3X fur blend hat is a good hat for re-enactors and is the alternate class A uniform hat for Cav units. Watch for it worn by Nebraska National Guard Cav units. It's been to the Middle East and back a few times. Comes with the leather chin strap.
The sweatband is made from top grain leather and will need cleaning and conditioner with use to keep it flexible.
As with all felt hats a good cleaning and shaping every now and then will keep it looking good.
